Still. Moving. in.

Hubbie installed a closet rod in each of our closets.  We now have internet in the new house.  Still waiting on the TV to be moved and the couches.  You can get a lot done without access to a TV or internet!

Contraption for hanging & drying doors for paint sprayer

Here is his invention for hanging doors to be painted

Here is the contraption with doors hanging and ready for paint.  There is a screw with a washer screwed into the center top of each door & they just hang from that screw and can be slid in both directions.

Here is the contraption for hanging the doors to dry in the garage.  They just hang by that same screw & washer, but they have a little notches the just sit in.

Back Porch Handrails installed

Now that our iron worker has installed the back porch iron handrails, we are READY to pass our c/o inspection with the county.  That means we could move in any time we want.  We have to get the insurance fellow out here on Monday and the county inspector too.  We will begin moving in next week (at least that is my plan...I already have the sheets on my bed!!!)

Close to receiving the "Certificate of Occupancy"

Pretty much waiting on the man who is making our handrails to move in.  We will apply for our "CO" or certificate of occupancy from the county.  This is the document that states that your house is safe enough to occupy.  Ironman said maybe 3 weeks. I had really been hoping for 1 week, but you can't have a two story porch on the front of the house without railings...insurance company (& county inspector) is not interested in insuring without them!
