You guys have been busy since the last time I checked in! Looks great!!
I stumbled across your site awhile back & love it. Especially your craft site. Always fun to see what you are making. We have a house for sale & are planning on building. I sort of took your idea of "watch us get our house sold & watch us build" blog.
The girls drawing on the concrete reminded me of something. When we took our carpet up in the dining room & office I took a permenate marker & wrote bible scripture on our concrete on the floor by my doorway.
When our new church was being built several years ago the congregation gathered one day & we wrote scripture all over the sanctuary floor.
It is so fun to know God's word is right there for you but maybe not all to know. I do tell some guest that enter through my door about it.

That is a fantastic idea -- I had already given the kids several things to write with all over the studs, but hadn't thought of the slab yet -- I think that is cool!
